Wetherby secure Hallas

Garry Hallas takes over the helm at Wetherby Silver.

Wetherby Silver has announced that they have secured the services of Garry Hallas as their new Musical Director.

The band hope that Garry will lead the band forward into 2009 with his well known infectious enthusiasm, determination and drive.

Fortunate

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Garry is a long-time friend and we feel fortunate that he could join us in the re-building of the band. Now in the Yorkshire Third Section, we are looking forward to a good year in contention at contests and still enjoying our active concert schedule."

Garry’s first engagement with the band will be the Preston Guild Hall contest on February 8th.
