Bowles hat trick at Bilton

Tenor horn player Ian Bowles makes it a personal hat trick at Bilton Silver.

Bilton Silver (Rugby) Band has announced their Bandsperson of the Year for 2008 with tenor horn player Ian Bowles taking the award.

Tireless

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Ian is a tireless worker for the band. Not only Treasurer and Librarian, he deals with many other tasks for the band ranging from bandroom renovations and garden maintenance to becoming the unofficial legal expert in matters relating to the band’s projects."

This is actually the third time that long serving Ian has been awarded the trophy as he was the second ever recipient in 1982 and retained it in 1983.
