Yeovil confirm open line up

Yeovil confirms open line up as bands get ready for the start of the 2009 season.

Octogon

The organisers of the Yeovil Entertainment Contest have announced the line up of bands which will take part in the 2009 event, which will take place on Saturday 7th February.

For the first time in its history the contest will be subject to open adjudication, after the organisers asked all competing for their preference for the future.

50/50

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The results were 50/50, and although there was no conclusive evidence that an open adjudication was best at Yeovil we have decided that a trial year was the best way forward and will be asking the same questions again this year in preparation for 2010."
