When Dobcross Youth Band join up with singer Gwen Yates at their forthcoming concerts, one of the pieces on offer will be 'Come Again' by John Dowland.

Musical Director Brian Lamb commented to 4BR: "The piece was written in 1597 for voice with lute accompaniment, but works surprisingly well with brass."

Brian wondered whether this could be the first time the music of John Dowland has been performed by brass band — or the longest time ever for a first performance for brass?
