The Executive Committee of the British Federation of Brass Bands (BFBB) has given notice of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place at 2.00pm on Saturday 4 April, 2009 in The Conference Room at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM).

Nominations

Nominations for Honorary Officers are required in accordance with clause 6 of the Constitution and the following officers are seeking re-election:

Mr. Robert Morgan (Chairman), Mrs. Carol Tattersfield (General Secretary) and Mr. Nigel Morgan (Treasurer).

Executive committee

Nominations for the Election of the Executive Committee are required in accordance with clause 7 of the Constitution (not less than five and not more than 13 members (excluding Honorary Officers) to be elected) and the following members are seeking re-election:

Mr. Derek Atkinson, Mr. Frank Hodges, Mr. Colin Morrison, Mr. Mike James, Mr. Arnold Tattersfield, Mr. Gary Walczak, Mr. Ken Hirst, Mrs. Shirley Woodward, Mr. Gary Jones.

The AGM will also elect the Registry Appeals Committee which includes representatives from eight different associations4BR

Bates (North West Area BBA), Mr. M. James (Gloucestershire BBA), Mr. C. Morrison (London & Southern Counties BBA), Mrs. F. Calver (Cornwall BBA).
