Tuba Star launches new website

Les Neish has launched himself on the internet — so log in and get to know more about one of the best tuba players around.

Neish

Tuba star Les Neish has recently launched his new website www.tuba-artist.com

Busy man

Les has been very busy of late. January saw him in the Cayman Islands with the Brass Band of Battle Creek, February in Florence on a major recording project and will he very soon be back over to America and then out to Barcelona with another trip to Italy in between!

New duet

In the UK, he has just recorded a new duet by Barbara Thompson with his teacher and mentor James Gourlay as part of a disc featuring the works of Barabara and Andy Scott. This CD will also feature Andy’s tuba concerto 'Salt of the Earth'.

Comprehensive

Even with all of this he has now managed to complete his comprehensive website which features information about the groups Les plays in, a photo gallery from his travels, video/audio files and also a webshop to purchase CD’s and sheet music.

Expand

Also available on the shop will be the works and arrangements which the tuba quartet, Tubalaté, have commissioned over many years. In the next few months Les hopes to expand this with much more music for all standards and a mixture of ensembles.
