4BR has spoken with Black Dyke's Music Director Dr Nicholas Childs as he prepares for the forthcoming Black Dyke Brass Arts Festival at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Details

The MD gives details of the different events and attractions at the festival which has now grown into one of the most dates in the band's year.

He also reveals details of the lecture he will give on the History of Brass Bands, the Black Dyke Legends, Composer's Collective and Gala Concert that form part of the three day event between the 29th May — 31st May, and which is open to everyone to enjoy.
