Advert: Geneva Instruments

Mike Eccles is the latest top player to opt for the Geneva brand of cornet.

Eccles

Mike Eccles, cornetist of the Fairey Band is the latest of a long line of world class cornet players to move over to the Geneva Brand.

Far the best

Mike stated: "I must start by saying that the Geneva 'Signature' Cornet is by far the best cornet that I have played throughout my playing career. The attention to detail is second to none while the intonation lends itself to any ensemble.

Free blowing

"Having played a number of different cornets from the all to familiar Sovereign, Prestige, Eminence, Xeno and even to the Chambourd II, I was amazed at how free blowing the Geneva is throughout the entire range.

Presence

"The low notes speak with such presence, while in the upper register the Geneva provides you with all the support and confidence that even the most novice player requires in order to get up there.

"The problem that I have found in many cornets is the intonation, either on specific notes or at extreme volumes (either quiet or loud). The Geneva Simply does not have this problem!

Perfection

Whether playing a controlled pp section or a ff passage, the Geneva's intonation and sound quality is absolute perfection!"
