Fodens Stowe aways

Open Champions set to bring the brass band message to Stowe.

On Sunday 14 June, Fodens Band will be helping to create a bit of brass interest at Stowe School with a day long brass event.

Open to everyone

Some of the bands top soloists will holding a massed rehearsal with anyone who would like to participate, before they impart their skills in a series of workshops. Fodens will round off the day with a concert.

Head of Brass and Percussion, Debbie Arscott told 4BR: "This would be an amazing experience for players from any standard brass/wind band as well as school children who would like the thrill of playing in a large group surrounded by hero’s of the brass band world."

Coup

Director of Music, Simon Dearsley added: "This is such a coup for Stowe. It’s going to be a tremendously exciting day of brass music at the highest level. An absolute must for anyone interested in music – brass player or otherwise".
