Belgian Nationals announce set works

The list of set works for this year's Belgian National Championships has been announced, with John Pickard's 'Eden' set to test the best.

The list of set works for the 2009 Belgian National Championships, which will be held on Sunday 29th of November at the Lemmens Institute Concert Hall in Brussels have been announced.

Resurgam

There will be a great deal of interest in the choices too, with more than a few eyebrows raised at Eric Ball's classic 'Resurgam' picked as the Third Division set work.

The top section bands hoping to gain the National title and the all important European qualification place to Linz in 2010 will have to overcome John Pickard's 'Eden'.

Set works:
Championship Division: Eden — John Pickard
First Division: Royal Parks — George Lloyd
Second Division: Trittico — James Curnow
Third Division: Resurgam — Eric Ball

Single set work

The lower section Divisions will play their set work and an own choice selection, whilst the Championship Division will be judged soley on the single set work.

For the first time the adjudicators will not be separated in three boxes, but wil all be housed in the one box.
