Global demands leads to Hutchinson launch

Cory principal cornet player Tom Hutchinson has launched his brand new website as demand for his playing services reaches around the world.

HUTCHINSON
Success has brought an increased global profile for the Cory principal cornet player

Cory principal cornet player Tom Hutchinson has just launched his brand new website as he continues to increase his worldwide profile as a soloist and performing artist with Besson Instruments.

Global trips

It follows a busy couple of years that have taken in global trips to Europe, Australasia, North America and Asia, as well as an increased focus on his teaching and tutoring commitments at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and at the National Youth Brass Band of Wales and National Children's Band of Great Britain.

"I've been very fortunate to have been able to build strong links to different parts of the world over the 18 months or so,"he told 4BR. "Playing with Cory helps a great deal of course, but I've also enjoyed meeting and working with different bands and organisations as a soloist too.

I particularly like the variety. For instance, I'm looking forward to playing with the Wooton under Edge Band in Gloucestershire this weekend and then preparing for the European Championships with Cory.

Then I'll be heading to San Antonio in Texas at the end of May for the 43rd International Trumpet Guild Conference."

Information and features

The launch of the website now gives both fans as well as concert promoters the chance to get in touch with Tom directly, as well as find out more information about his work through video presentations and recordings.

"I'm delighted by the new site and my thanks go to Matthew Ruel at Bandmaster who created it, as well as my sponsors who support me. I'll be adding more information and features in the near future, so I hope people enjoy what it has to offer."
