Denton Brass has announced the appointment of Jessica Tredrea as their new Musical Director.

Cornish

Jessica who hails from Camborne in Cornwall, spent a decade playing for both the Camborne Youth and Town bands before moving to Manchester in 2010. She is currently in her final year of study at the University of Salford where she is tutored in cornet and flugel by Mark Wilkinson, and conducting by Dr Howard Evans.

Denton completed their first concert under the new MD on Friday 30th November in Dukinfield, and included in their programme the UK premiere of a new work from the pen of Dr Richard Rock entitled, ‘The Bold and the Brave’.
