The leading percussion retailers certainly enjoyed their day at the Wychavon Festival of Brass.

The Ev-entz team had a great time at the recent Wychavon Festival of Brass

Ev-entz, the banding world's leading percussion retailer and supplier has been delighted with their return to the recent Wychavon Festival of Brass.

The popular contest held in Evesham last weekend attracted an outstanding line-up of competitors and large, enthusiastic audience support.

Ev-entz not only supplied the percussion requirements for the bands on four stages, but were also on hand to offer expert advice to players both young and old on how to make the most of it.

Very happy

Ev-entz MD, Adrian Evans told 4BR: "We're very happy to have renewed our link with the Festival, and it was great to meet friends old and new whilst supporting all of the competing bands with our percussion."

He added: "Contests such as Wychavon are the lifeblood of the movement — especially when they are as well organised as this.

It was also great that the organisers also give time to offer help to the players as well — something we feel is very important, especially to inexperienced players who are invariably playing on the equipment for the very first time when they walk onto the stage."

Support

Ev-entz further supported the event by providing awards for the 'Best Percussion' in each of the five sections of competition and will also be providing percussion instruments and expert advice at the upcoming SWBBA Championships, the Music for Youth Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, the SEWBBA Welsh League event in Merthyr and the Band Cymru contest.
