Draw made for 2019 National Youth Championships of Great Britain

The draw has been made for the 30 ensembles that will take part in the 2019 National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

National Youth
  The National Youth Championships will take place at Warwick School

The draw has been made at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship for the 2019 National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

4BR Editor Iwan Fox teamed up with Alex Parker, the Development Officer for Brass Bands England to make the draw with the assistance of youngsters from the Whitwell Band, who were competing in the Fourth Section at the event.

30 bands

The draw was beamed love to the banding world via Facebook.

30 bands will compete in the four sections at Warwick School on March 30th.

June 1 • Solo Cornet : fresh off the back of our promotion to the Grand Shield, ELB are on the look out for a solo cornet player to complement our existing section. The band is ambitious and has an exciting second half of the year ahead.


Tintwistle Band

May 28 • Tintwistle Band are looking for front row cornet players to help complete our team. . We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, under the baton of MD Jim Henson, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.


Chinnor Silver

May 28 • Our COMMUNITY BAND meets again on Monday(1st) at 11am and we welcome players of all abilities to come along and join us in a relaxed and friendly rehearsal.. What is not to like = wont effect your no1 band ,its free and with coffee and cake
