Evans to tell his story...

The great Richard Evans will link up with Foden's Band to recall the many highlights of his wonderful musical career.

Richards Evans has been friends with many of the greats such as Maurice Murphy and Geoffrey Whitham

Foden's, the current National and North West Regional champion, will be linking up with a very special guest later this month when they will appear in concert with the one and only Richard Evans at Chorley Town Hall on the 17th March.

Brilliant storyteller

Speaking about the forthcoming event, Band Chairman John Barber told 4BR: "Richard is one of the most colourful and flamboyant characters in British banding, and a brilliant storyteller.

We're delighted to be able to link up and look back at his incredible musical career for what promises to be a memorable night of unique entertainment."

Richard will be interviewed throughout the night by John about his playing and conducting career, whilst Foden's will perform various pieces that link to his career under the baton of guest conductor Thomas Wyss4BR
