The 45th Swiss Solo & Quartet Championship was held recently in the historic town of Chur in the canton of Graubünden.

More than 150 performers performed in various categories in their bid to impress an international jury consisting of Sylvain Andrey, Stephane Duboux, Simon Estermann, Tim de Maeseneer, Rex Martin, Katrina Marzella, Michael Meinen and Lode Violet.

In return they stated that they were impressed by the technical and musical standard of the musicians, as well as the wonderful organisation led by hosts Brass Band Sursilvana.
