The world's number 1 ranked band has announced that they will be heading to the United States of America later this year.

Having already been crowned UK Band of the Year and European Champion in 2019, it is hoped that they will now conquer a new audience on a four date tour of the East Coast of the country.

Third time

It will mark the third time the band has visited the United States since the nation's bi-centenary celebrations in 1976 and the first time since a highly popular visit in 2016.

Tickets will soon be available for all concerts during the tour, but the confirmed dates will also see them link up with the Rockville Brass Band, Triangle Brass Band, James Madison University and the New York Staff Band.

In addition Cory will also undertake a range of educational sessions with students and bands during their travels thanks to the generous support of Besson and Buffet Crampon, USA.

Memorable

Speaking about the forthcoming tour, Cory MD Philip Harper told 4BR: "This will be my third major tour with Cory and it remains our priority to provide everyone with memorable performance experiences — and these tours are really special in achieving that.

We had an amazing response from packed audiences in 2016 and developed some really positive relationships that have enabled us to return. I'm really looking forward to developing our programmes for our American friends and collaborating with these special bands."
