Fell off for Tindall

Minority force Graeme Tindall to resign his position as MD at Felling Band after six succesful years at the helm.

Felling

After six years at the helm, Graeme Tindall has resigned as Musical Director of Felling Band.

Successful tenure

Graeme ends his tenure as the most successful conductor in the band's history, taking them from the Second Section to Championship Section status in just four years, winning numerous contest prizes along the way.

I have always given 100% and expect that from the players. It was clear I was not going to get that so my decision to resign was made very easyGreame Tindall

Easy decision

Graeme told 4BR: "I'm very sad to leave the band. They are a really great bunch and I have forged many lasting friendships.

Unfortunately, a very small minority of players decided that a change of direction was needed which made my position untenable."

He added: "I have always given 100% and expect that from the players. It was clear I was not going to get that so my decision to resign was made very easy."

Future

As for future plans, Graeme will continue as assistant principal cornet with Reg Vardy and has already had a number of offers to work on exciting projects with other bands.
