New principal at Pemberton

The talented young cornet player Georgina Moulsdale becomes the new principal cornet of Pemberton Old Wigan DW Band.

Pemberton Old Wigan DW Band has announced that Georgina Moulsdale has become their new principal cornet.

Georgina makes the move from VBS Poynton with the talented young player having already amassed an impressive CV of success in her career so far with Parr, Formby and Rainford Bands.

Best Soloist

She is a former member of the National Youth Band of Great Britain where she played flugel, as well as St Helens Youth Band where she claimed the 'Best Soloist' prize at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship. Georgina is currently a member of the Foden's Youth Band.

The band is delighted to welcome Georgina. She has already made a big impression on the band and we look forward to enjoying a successful period with her leading the cornet sectionPemberton Old Wigan DW Band
