Geneva Artists, James and Thomas Fountain are flying to the USA this weekend to perform as guest soloists with the New York Staff Band.

Future All-Stars

Their appearance will be part of an exciting 'Future All-Stars' event — now in its 14th year, which has become one of the musical highlights of the NYSB's calendar.

This sees young people (over 60 this year) gather from all over the Eastern United States to join with the NYSB for a weekend of teaching and music making. They also get the chance to sit with members of the band during rehearsals and take part in sectional practice to experience first-hand what being in the New York Staff Band is all about.

Inspire

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Ten current members of the New York Staff Band first took part in the event, and this year James and Thomas will be on hand to help inspire the next generation with their playing, tuition and solo performances."
