4BR has been informed that due to a change in personal circumstances Andrew Craze has resigned from his role as Musical Director of the City of Norwich Band with immediate effect.

Success

Formed by Andrew in 2014, the band has enjoyed a great deal of success — including victories at the London & Southern Area Championships in the Fourth Section in 2015 and in the Third Section (off the number 1 draw) this year.

They came fifth on their first Cheltenham Finals appearance and runner-up in 2017, missing out on the title by the narrowest of margins. In September they will be making their third appearance at the National Finals in four years.

Happy memories

Andy told 4BR: "Unfortunately, circumstances mean that I have to take the decision, but I wish the band all the very best as they look towards the National Finals once more.

I've enjoyed every minute of my time and leave with happy memories of great contest and concert appearances."
