Littleport to host Area trio

There is a great chance to hear the test-pieces in the First, Second and Third Sections ahead of them being played at Stevenage — and get to hear the wise words of David Read.

Stevenage
The three bands will play their test-pieces ahead of Stevenage

Littleport Brass will be hosting a special Area test piece event on Sunday 24th February with the help of a brace of other Stevenage contenders.

Time and place

It all takes place at Manea British Legion Club (PE15 0JJ) at 2.00pm, with the great David Read on hand to offer wise words of advice on how to catch the ears of the adjudicators in the box at the London & Southern Counties Regional Championships on the weekend on the 16th/17th March.

First, Second, Third

Joining the Second Section contenders will be City of Cambridge (First Section) and East Coast Brass (Third Section) all three of whom will warm up with a hymn tune, before playing their Area set-work and a entertaining lollipop to finish.

The first band will perform at 3.00pm.
