Lympstone limp home

Members of the Lympstone Band recently found getting home from practice a bit of a long winded affair — all of course due to the snow...

Three unlucky members of the Lympstone Band recently found their commitment to getting to band practice counted for nothing as they got stuck in the snow on their way home.

Snowed in

Lympstone is situated right on the Exe estuary and after rehearsal, Robbie Steel, Annabelle Grose and Liz Courts all got stranded and didn't get moving until 3.00am. Liz, who lives in Plymouth finally got home about 5.00am to find no snow there!

Thankfully it hasn't put the band off and the players will be on the road (weather permitting) once again as they have a number of jobs this weekend.
