Just a minute at Old Hall
30-Jul-2009It took 60 seconds for a prize winning performance at Old Hall recently.
Old Hall Brass has announced that Rob Singleton is the deserved winner of the first ever Old Hall Brass ‘Longest Note Competition’
Brain child
The competition is the brain child of the Band’s MD John North, who told 4BR: "The idea is to introduce some good humoured competition between the very keen members of the band – whilst improving stamina and note/tone control. So far the results have been very encouraging – and I’m delighted that Rob won the first ever competition with a fantastic benchmark of 60 seconds."

First winner
Speaking about his victory Rob Singleton added: "I’m delighted to be the first winner of this landmark competition. I’m going to practice and train as hard as possible to keep this title mine. I’ve already enrolled at a local gym to keep my hands on the fantastic trophy."
