The Fairey (Geneva) Band is set to join forces with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra later this month.

Short concert

The band has been invited to perform a short concert following the orhcestra's performance of Mahler's 7th Symphony at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on the 24th April.

Paul Warder from the band told 4BR: We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to follow this concert with a short programme, where the band will accompany Ben Thomson on the Vaughan Williams 'Tuba Concerto', as well as the Mahler inspired 'Titans Progress'."
