National judges announced

It's Snell, Cosh and Farr for London, with Renton, Wadsworth, Davies, White, Wilkinson, Maines, Kilroy and Hardy for Cheltenham.

Who will decide the destiny of the trophy this year?

The list of adjudicators who will make the all important decisions in the various sections of the Finals of the National Championships of Great Britian has been announced by Kapitol Promotions Ltd.

Respected

The Royal Albert Hall box will contain a trio of three highly respected musicians – all with considerable experience of performing at the very professional highest levels.

With Howard Snell’s magnificent new arrangement of the Second Suite from Ravel’s ‘Daphis and Chloe’ chosen as the set work, the selection of the former LSO principal trumpeter and Wren Orchestra conductor will be welcomed by both competitors and critics alike.

Joining Howard in Kensington on Saturday 20th October will be Paul Cosh and Ray Farr, both of whom have considerable experience at the very highest levels as conductors, judges and performers.

The decision means that for the first time since 1994, the banding movement’s most experienced adjudicator, David Read MBE will not appear in the box.
