Players from the 4BR Band of the Year Foden’s are to host a Brass Band Workshop at Ysgol Y Gader, Dolgellau, Gwynedd on Saturday 16th February in partnership with Glyn Williams Musical Instruments.

8 to 80

After a highly successful inaugural event in 2008, the highly enjoyable day has become something of an annual attraction for brass band enthusiasts, with over 70 brass players aged 8 to 80 making the trip to take part from all areas of North and Mid Wales.

Delegates will have the chance to enjoy tuition from the members of the 2012 Double champions, including local lad Glyn Williams himself — before the day closes with the opportunity to join forces on stage with the full Foden’s Band in an evening concert also to be held at the College.
