French Open announces test piece choices

The French Open announces their list of test pieces for their 2018 Championship

aMBOISE
  The French Open offers plenty of attractions as well as great test-pieces.

The French Open Championship, which takes place in the historic town of Amboise in the beautiful Loire Valley, has announced its list of set-works for its 2018 contest, which takes place between the Friday June 1st to Sunday 3rd June.

Plenty of attractions

With the delights of the French town added to with an excellent contest experience based at the Theatre Beaumarchais and around the wonderful Chateau Royal d'Amboise, there is plenty to attract contenders in all sections.

Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band will provide the Gala Concert entertainment, with entrants for the event already coming from all over Europe.

Judges

The adjudication team for the event is headed by renowned trombonist and conductor Chris Jeans, alongside Swiss composer Ludovic Neurohr, Frederic Theodoloz, John Hudson and Michel Dubois.
