Foden's stars inspire in Wales

Stars of Foden's Band inspired players aged 11 to 70 on their recent workshop day trip to Abergele.

Foden's
The Foden's players certainly enjoyed their recent trip to North Wales

Brass players from across North Wales and Cheshire recently congregated at Abergele Youth and Community Centre on to participate in a brass band workshop led by the players of Foden's Band.

Hosted by the local Beulah Brass, it was led by Mark Wilkinson alongside tutors Anna Hughes-Williams, Heather Linnell, Sarah Lenton, Shaun Farrington and Stewart Baglin.

Invaluable support

The students aged between 11 to over 70, with varying levels of experience studied various musical styles performing 'Westwood Ho!', 'Prismatic Lights', 'Vitae Lux', 'All in the April Evening' and 'Vuvuzela'.

A full band warm up session and sectional rehearsals were held, with everyone receiving invaluable support and encouragement.

A question and answer session followed the final session, after which a free short concert was held to which friends and family were invited.
