The St Dennis Band from Cornwall will be travelling to Prestatyn later next month to compete in the Pontins Championships — their final appearance in the First Section after gaining promotion to Championship status next year.
New faces
The band report a number of changes of late and the contest alows them to bed in before their appearance at the Yeovil Entertainment Contest next February.
New signings such as Lee Wylde on Principal Cornet, Kellie Roberts on soo cornet and the returning Zachary Lawrence, will be joined by a new trombone section of Steven Bazeley, Harriot Teagle and Dominic Turner. Marc Boulter also returns on percussion.
