QLD Youth Camps

The Queensland Band Association announce details for two 2009 Youth Camps.

The Queensland Band Association Youth Brass Band Music Camp is being
held in conjunction with the University of Southern Queensland McGregor Summer School in Toowoomba,7–17 January 2009.

The Musical Director for the QBA Youth Brass Band Music Camp will be UK's Richard Evans.

Brass tutors include:
Horn: Peter Luff
Trumpet: Phil Ryan & Shane Hooton
Trombone: Greg Aitken
Euphonium: Bill Barker
Tuba: Adam Thomson
Percussion: John Parker

The minimum age is 11 years.

July Youth Music Camp

The QBA will also be holding the QBA Youth Music Camp in conjunction with Education Queensland Music Conference, being held in Maryborough 8-13 July, 2009.

The Musical Director for this will be Peter Adams from New Zealand.
