The Briton Ferry Silver Band has announced the death of cornet player Keith Evans after a long illness.

Long and fruitful

Valued

Keith settled as a player with Briton Ferry Silver in recent years, where he was a valued member of the solo cornet team. It is a testament to Keith’s commitment and love of playing that he was able to join the band on stage during its performance at a local contest back in November, despite his illness.

The thoughts of the band members are with his family at this difficult time.

Funeral details

The funeral will take place at 11.30am on Friday 30th January at Margam Crematorium, where friends and members of both Briton Ferry Silver and Corus bands will provide music.
