4BR has been informed by the organisers of the Spring Festival in Blackpool on Saturday 9th May, that due to unavoidable circumstances, the Timperley Band has had to withdraw from the Senior Trophy Contest.
The band has been replaced by Point of Ayr, the current National Second Section Champions and winners of the First Section Regional title in Wales this year.
They will be conducted by Dr Roy Newsome.
