Organisers release details of the 2009 Land O' Burns Contest - all with a Vinter twist.

The Dalmellington Band has announced details of their annual Land O' Burns Invitation Contest, which will be held at the Concert Hall, Troon, on Saturday 29th August.

Support

With support from South Ayrshire Council there is generous prize money on offer, with a first prize of £2000, and with additional prizes to fourth place and for best placed lower section bands.

Closing date

The closing date for entries is Saturday 20th June. 18 bands will compete on a first come, first served basis.
