Two of the North West Area competitors at this year’s Lower Section National Finals in Harrogate are to play their test pieces at The Boarshurst Band Club, Greenbridge Lane, Greenfield, Saddleworth next Sunday, 20th September, commencing at 8.15pm.

Set works

The Oldham (Lees) Band, North West Area 2nd Section Champions, conducted by John Collins and the Dobcross Silver Band, North West Area 3rd Section Champions, conducted by Grenville Moore. will play a half hour programme which will include their Final's piece.

Oldham (Lees) Band will play 'A Scots Miscellaney' by Alan Fernie whilst Dobcross Silver Band will play 'Oceans' by Goff Richards.
