Barrhead Burgh Band has announced the appointment of Lynda Nicholson as Musical Director after her recent relocation to Glasgow.

The former cornet player and conductor will bring a wealth of experience with her as she looks forward to building on Barrhead's impressive foundations.

Invaluable

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Lynda's experience is invaluable to us, and will greatly assist in developing the band’s ties with Levern Valley Community Brass."
