The 63rd Annual Championships of the South West Brass Band Association will be held on Saturday 7th November at The Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay.

Commences

The contest commences at 10.00am under the scrutiny of adjudicator Barry Thompson.

Good entry

The Association has reported a very good entry of 32 bands competing in six sections, with bands from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, and Dorset taking part.

The organisers are plesed to report the attendance of 2 youth and 3 training bands in their respective sections.

Unique

The Championships are unique in the brass band movement, as no monetary awards have ever been made to the winning bands, and the Association is extremely proud that it’s member and guest bands continue to show such loyalty to the Association.
