Glyn Williams set to add touch of brilliance to Barnados Brass Appeal

Multi award winning euphonium star Glyn Williams is set to add a touch of individual brilliance to a help the Barnados Charity.

Glyn will appear with at the Bedford Salvation Army Congress Hall, the Bedford Town Band on 7th November in what is hoped to be a very special brass band concert.

Virtuoso

Glyn will be appearing in conjunction with Sterling Musical Instruments, and will be playing the equally brilliant Virtuoso euphonium to help the charity in its fund raising appeal.

A band spokesperson said: "Working with Glyn Williams has certainly motivated the bands to make this night a fantastic evening of fine music making. So, whether you are an existing brass band follower, a Barnardo's supporter, or a lover of live music, by working together we aim to sell-out this special event."

New opportunities

The Barnardo's Brass Appeal aims to create new opportunities for young instrumentalists to attend, or play with a brass band and to ensure each child, or young adult can reach their own potential, thus providing the banding community with new players for the future.

The Barnardo’s Brass Appeal concert at the Congress Hall starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from 01234 357268 or in person from the Bedford Tourist Information Centre in St. Pauls Square, Bedford, MK40 1SL. Tickets cost £8 adult, £6 concessions, children – free.

Wantage Silver Band
