Rolls Royce (Derby) Band were thrilled last weekend after they claimed a clean sweep of prizes at the Leicestershire BBA Contest held at Burleigh College in Loughborough.

The band were placed first and also won the 'Best Instrumentalist' prize.

Fantastic end

It proved to be fantastic end to a very successful year as the band also become NEMBBA (Derby) Champions and gained promotion to the Third Section.

The band played Philip Sparke's, 'Music for a Festival', whilst their principal cornet Kevin Mantle also won the best instrumentalist prize.
