New management at Bolsover

A new management team will be heading the Bolsover Festival as they look towards 2010.

Bolsover District Council has announced that from 2010, the Bolsover Brass Festival will be managed jointly by Carole Crompton and Nick Harris.

Best contest

Nick joined the Festival team this year working alongside Contest Controller, Carole, in what was seen as the best contest festival in its short history.

With the growth in popularity of the competition and the increasing number of bands applying for entry, the 2010 contest will utilise two venues, which will be managed by Nick and Carole respectively.
