Pleasley make new signings

The Pleasley Band welcome a number of new signings in time for their Area challenge.

The Pleasley Band has announced a number of new signings ahead of the Midlands Area Contest in a few weeks time

Welcome

The band welcome Michelle Thompson on cornet and Danny Pizzey on Bb Bass. Danny joins the bass section with Pete Thornburn, formerly of Carlton Brass.

Steve Emery comes in on 1st horn, Chris Clayton joins on solo cornet and Nathan Fox makes a full compliment of percussion on kit.

Looking forward

MD Keith Buxton told 4BR: "I really cannot believe how things have picked up this year. We have made many new signings and now we have a full band. Rehearsals are well attended and the whole band, especially me, are looking forward to the area contest."
