In addition to their solo performance at this year’s Royal Albert Hall Schools Prom in November, Smithills School Senior Brass Band under MD Chris Wormald, will begin the concert with a spectacular opening item featuring the Kagemusha Taiko Drummers, directed by Jonathan Kirby.

Chris told 4BR that both ensembles are really looking forward to working with each other over the next five weeks, whilst the MD also said that the band is working hard on their solo second half contributions of 'Birdland' and 'Cry Me A River'.
