Huddersfield & Ripponden has announced the appointment of Alan Coe as their new Musical Director.

Experience

After many years playing Eb bass at the top level of banding and gaining conducting experience with several bands in South Yorkshire, Alan has now taken over at the Golcar based band.

Huddersfield & Ripponden has enjoyed mixed fortunes in recent years but following a rebuilding period under Alan Holdsworth a permanent appointment has now been made.

This appointment coincides with the band's promotion, in January 2011, and we hope that this is the beginning of a successful new era in the band's historyAlan Jazwinski

Huddersfield & Ripponden Brass is the senior band of the Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble Association, a charity primarily dedicated to encouraging young people to play brass instruments and promote brass banding in the community.
