Fodens, Grimey and ISB set for Ipswich

The joint forces of Foden's, Grimethorpe and the ISB will be helping to raise even more charitable funds in Ipswich later this year.

One of the longest running charitable brass band concert series is set to continue to raise funds for a great cause in Ipswich this year.

Much needed funds

Foden’s, Grimethorpe and the International Staff Band will be featured at the Ipswich Corn Exchange in April, June and October this year, as organisers hope to continue to raise much needed funds for both local and international charitable causes.

Committee secretary, Tim Mutum told 4BR: "We are delighted to be welcoming these three world class bands to Ipswich again and are very grateful for continued financial support from Ipswich Borough Council for all three concerts."

Since 1990 the Ipswich Charity Concert Committee has presented 43 concerts and raised over £64,0004BR

Delighted

He added: "For the 21st successive year the East of England
Co-operative Society will be the principal sponsor of our summer concert and I am delighted to announce that World of Brass has just agreed to sponsor the visit of the International Staff Band."

Last year’s concerts, featuring the Household Troops Band of the Salvation Army and Cory Band, raised £4,000 for charity. Since 1990 the Ipswich Charity Concert Committee has presented 43 concerts and raised over £64,000.
