A brand new CD that features three leading European principal cornet players has been launched this week.

A Perfect Match

The CD entitled ‘A Perfect Match’ features the talents of Patrick Vergères of Brass Band 13 Etoiles, Raf Van Looveren, formerly of Brass Band Willebroek and British Open Solo Champion Harmen Vanhoorne of Buizingen Brass Band.

Talents

It was Patrick who came up with the idea of bringing together the three young talents for the innovative and stimulating project – and in time for his 30th birthday!

To realize his idea, Patrick decided to call on both the most talented players and composer’s he could find, and so he naturally picked Raf and Harmen as well as linking up with composers Marc Reift and Bertrand Moren.

In addition the trio is accompanied on the release by leading pianist Allardyce Mallon – a Scotsman living in Switzerland.

Review

The CD has now been released and will be reviewed on 4BR in the near future.
