Penicuik Silver has announced the signing of Erin Stephenson from Peebles Silver Band on bass trombone.

MD Stuart Black told 4BR: “Erin is a fantastic signing. I have known her for a few years now so know what a talent she is. She is not your stereotypical bass trombone player by any means, but she can make one heck of a sound!”

Erin joins fiancé Martyn who plays soprano in the band.
