Foden's Band has announced that their recently launched 'Foden's App' which was originally designed for the Iphone, has now been launched on the Ipad.

Speaking about the release Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "Foden's was the first brass band to launch an App on the Iphone which was released to give another network on top of our Facebook, Twitter and Website sites to keep our supporters informed of concerts and general information on the band."

He added: "Since launching the App we have had over 500 downloads and due to its popularity decided that we would like to convert the App to make it compatible with the Ipad. In doing this we believe we are again creating a banding first, thanks to the work of our soprano star Richard Poole."
