BTS announce award winners

The British Trombone Society has announced the winners of its 2012 Composer's Competition.

 

The British Trombone Society Executive Board has announced the winners of its 2012 Composers' Competition.

All the winning entries will be performed at BTS events during the next 12 months including the Black Dyke Band Festival, and will be submitted to Warwick Music for possible publication.

Very high

Judges, Professor Philip Wilby, Dan Jenkins, Andrea Price and Brett Baker himself told 4RBR that they standard of compositions was in their opinion, ‘very high’.

Tintwistle Band

April 28 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a Soprano and front row cornet players to help complete our team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
