The Yorkshire & Humberside Brass Band Association, organisers of the Kiveton Brass Festival have informed 4BR that the fourth annual event will take place on Sunday, 15th July at Kiveton Park Community Woodland.

Partnership

Run in partnership with the Forestry Commission England, the contest is open to all 3rd/4th Section, Youth and Ungraded bands in an entertainment format.

Bands must perform programmes lasting no longer than 20 minutes duration with the inclusion of a hymn, march and soloist being optional, although if included these will be adjudicated for their individual awards.

Contest entry is limited to twelve bands and will be pre-drawn to allow bands to plan their dayorganisers

Commence

The contest will commence at 11.00am and bands will play in an open fronted marquee situated in a natural amphitheatre.
