Five new faces join the Flixton ranks ahead of Blackpool.

Flixton Band has welcomed five players into the ranks ahead of the North West Area Contest in Blackpool.

New players

Charlotte Ankers who is a music student at Salford University joins on flugel. Scott Lloyd joins on Eb tubas whilst Michael Clark and Sam Gilluley join the percussion team. Dave Hardman rejoins on the front row.

Serious challenge

Steve Curtis, MD told 4BR: "I’m pleased to welcome these players to the band to further strengthen the ranks for a serious challenge for qualification for the National Finals."
